Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate preferred
• Internship/Co-op/field experience in engineering, transportation or infrastructure ideal
• Experience with design software (AutoCAD/Civil 3D/OpenRoads/MicroStation/Revit/GIS) beneficial
• Construction inspection or field surveying experience is advantageous
• Interest in freight rail, transit and port projects preferred

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, construction and delivery of rail infrastructure projects.
• Assist with technical deliverables: calculations, drawings, specifications and reports.
• Contribute to projects involving track, facilities, structures, civil infrastructure, environmental services, construction field services and advisory support.
• Participate in site visits, field assessments and project walkthroughs.
• Use engineering tools to support project development and delivery.
• Research and apply applicable codes, standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and learn from experienced engineers.
