Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Rail Design EIT/Coordinator in Minnesota to support planning, design, and delivery of rail infrastructure projects. You will assist with technical deliverables and collaborate across disciplines on track, facilities, and environmental tasks.

The role involves site visits, field assessments, and periodic travel, with opportunities to grow in an employee-owned, collaborative culture in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Hands-on experience with MicroStation, InRoads and GEOPAK-route design.
• MS Office Applications experience.
• Strong interest in railroad design.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, construction and delivery of rail infrastructure projects.
• Assist with technical deliverables, including calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, exhibits and cost estimates.
• Contribute to projects involving track, facilities, structures, civil infrastructure, environmental services, construction field services, and advisory support.
• Participate in site visits, field assessments, inspections, and project walkthroughs.
• Utilize engineering, design and analytical tools to support project development and delivery.
• Travel periodically for project meetings, field assignments and client-related activities.
