Job summary

Genesee & Wyoming Inc. is hiring for a position responsible for maintaining electronic records for railroad field personnel and serving as a liaison between management teams and train and engine service personnel.

The role focuses on coordinating staffing, ensuring crew availability, and performing administrative duties in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, with call center or office experience preferred.

• Flexibility to work weekends/holidays in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor activity and adjust workforce levels to meet service demands.
• Ensure T&E positions are filled for safe, efficient rail operations.
• Respond to directives from field managers.
• Arrange crew lodging, transportation and job assignments as needed.
• Perform administrative duties related to federal hours-of-service requirements.
• Undertake other projects and duties as assigned.
