Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to report for duty at the designated work location.
• Able to work safely in the above working conditions.
• Able to work the stated shifts and travel requirements.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to interpret signals and speeds.

Responsibilities

• Safely switching railcars and ensuring safe train movement.
• Obtain and receive information and act on instructions via communication devices.
• Monitor and report daily work.
• Inspect cars per federal regulations.
• Report on passing train conditions.
