Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for safely switching railcars and safe train movement.
• Climb on/off equipment, couple/uncouple air hoses, inspect/spot cars.
• Observe and relay hand, lantern, and other signals for train movement.
• Operate track switches and derails to route trains within yards or on road.
• Inspect cars and monitor track conditions; report issues as needed.
