Compass Minerals seeks a railcar movement associate to support SOP, Salt, and MgCl2 product handling. You will assist the shuttle wagon operator, spot and stage rail cars, and coordinate with the weigh master and plant operator to ensure safe loading and unloading.

The role requires high school diploma, basic computer literacy (Excel/Word/Outlook/Access) and familiarity with ERP systems; prior rail equipment experience is a plus. Equal opportunity employer; on-site position in Ogden, UT.

Competenze

Must have a high school diploma and be able to monitor equipment for proper operation.
Experience operating heavy equipment or working with rail equipment is a plus.
PC literate with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access; able to navigate an ERP to issue work requests and review inventory.

Mansioni

Inspect rail cars for proper loading requirements and cleanliness.
Work with shuttle wagon operator on coupling/decoupling and ensure proper alignment and safety.
Prepare and inspect rail cars; ensure no contamination and proper loading procedures.
Communicate status via radio to weigh master and plant operator.
Back-up shuttle wagon operator during vacations or absences.
Clean up tracks and equipment as required.
