Job summary

Amtrak is seeking a Project Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Division to deliver and execute complex capital projects and programs with multi-year schedules and multi-million dollar cost impacts.

Based out of Washington, DC, this onsite role requires ensuring alignment with State of Good Repair programs across Structures and Facilities portfolios, managing scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred; 3 years required.
• PMP certification, or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inter-department project status reporting to senior management.
• Plan and manage budget, schedule, and scope for projects.
• Develop detailed schedules, track progress, manage changes.
• Identify risks and manage vendor delivery timelines.
• Report and present status to stakeholders.
