HDR is seeking a Rail Bridge Designer to contribute to the design and detailing of bridges for transportation projects. You will apply structural engineering methods, work on highway and railway bridge designs, and perform load calculations using specialized software within HDR's Transportation Business Group.

The role emphasizes collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team, with opportunities to advance knowledge of advanced bridge design packages and industry standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with engineering software: LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB-MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, midas Civil, CSiBridge, RM Bridge, spColumn, STLBridgeLRFD, STLBridge.
• Experience in bridge/structural design.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques for bridge designs.
• Work on bridge projects including box culvert and interchange design for highways and railways.
• Perform structural load calculations and assist with geometry/layout and quantity development.
• Develop structural details using specialized software.
• Participate in bridge inspection and related tasks.
