Job summary

HDR is seeking a Bridge Designer/EIT to contribute to the development of bridge designs across multiple configurations, including steel plate girder and prestressed concrete structures. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural engineering or related field.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• Design Engineer/EIT path with progression to career development.
• Familiarity with listed engineering software packages is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques in the development of bridge designs.
• Work on projects including bridge types and box culvert/interchange design for highways and railways.
• Perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity development.
• Develop structural details using specialized software and participate in bridge inspections.
