Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Quality & Assurance Manager (Rail & Aviation) to strengthen our quality governance across nationwide projects. You will work with rail and aviation teams, promote best practices, audits, and drive continuous improvement within a robust management system.

Ideal candidates have experience applying Network Rail standards, QA/QM in rail or aviation, and are Lead Auditors familiar with ISO 9001/14001/45001. Collaboration and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Experience applying Network Rail standards in rail projects.
• Auditing and quality assurance in rail construction, infrastructure or aviation.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in implementing quality controls, including project quality plans and document control.
• Identify trends from lessons learned and client feedback to drive improvements.
• Promote compliance with Kier's Integrated Management System across projects.
• Deliver internal surveillance and audit programmes using a risk-based approach.
• Monitor effectiveness of quality activities and guide project teams.
