SWAT Environmental seeks candidates near Raleigh, NC for radon mitigation technician roles. You will inspect homes, determine optimal placement, and install radon systems including drilling, PVC piping, fans, and sealing openings.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in construction, maintenance, or skilled trades or apprenticeship.
• Lift and carry a 60-pound ladder.
• Work on ladders at 40 feet or higher.
• Work in confined spaces (turn, twist, bend, stoop, reach).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-tool use.
• Acquire and maintain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect homes and work with customers to determine the most effective placement of radon mitigation systems.
• Install radon mitigation systems by drilling holes, cutting & running PVC pipes, installing fans, and sealing holes.
