Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust seeks an Associate Healthcare Science Practitioner - Radiotherapy Physics to support the radiotherapy physics team. You will coordinate patient scans, input CT data into planning systems, and assist with QA tasks.

The role is 0.5 WTE for one year with morning hours preferred; responsible for IR(ME)R procedures and providing admin support to the team.

Qualifications

• Coordinate input of patient scans and data into the department.
• Input CT and other image data into treatment planning systems.
• Assist with standard quality assurance tasks on QA equipment.

Responsibilities

• Book in patient data and assign appropriate care paths.
• Assess urgency of plans and inform lead clinical scientist.
• Transfer CT data from scanner to treatment planning system and ensure correct orientation.
