Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support patients undergoing radiation therapy. You will prepare exam and treatment rooms, document vitals in the EMR, and assist with patient education and care coordination.

Responsibilities include history intake, lab result filing, coordinating patient flow, and helping front office with scheduling and calls. A high school diploma and at least 6 months of related experience are required; an Associate’s degree is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of six (6) months of related work experience
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Assistance preferred; National Certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam and treatment rooms and patient for examinations.
• Obtains patient history, records chief complaint, and documents vitals in EMR.
• Processes and files lab/diagnostic results and clinical notes after physician review.
• Coordinates patient flow with front desk to ensure timely visits.
• Assists front office by answering calls and scheduling appointments
