Job summary

Pro-Staffing Locums Limited is seeking a Therapeutic Radiographer to join a radiotherapy department delivering cancer treatment. You will provide accurate, safe radiotherapy treatment while supporting patients through their care journey.

This temporary, on-site role based in Durham involves planning and delivering treatments, monitoring patients, supervising students, and ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver radiotherapy treatments using linear accelerators and related technology.
• Perform image-guided radiotherapy checks to ensure treatment accuracy.
• Provide information, reassurance and support to patients during treatment.
• Monitor patients for side effects and refer to the wider team where needed.
• Supervise and support students and junior radiographers.
• Follow radiation protection regulations (IR(ME)R) and departmental quality standards.
