Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients and selecting appropriate factors.
• Follow ALARA principles to limit radiation exposure and ensure patient safety.
• Perform portable x-ray examinations in patient rooms, ORs and EDs.
• Maintain x-ray room organization and supply levels as directed by department head.
• Handle scheduling, patient instruction, records and other clerical duties as required.
• Be available for scheduled shifts, holidays and weekends; on-call as needed.
