Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a General Radiologic Technologist to join our patient‑centered imaging team in the Elkridge area. Under physician supervision, you’ll perform venipuncture, radiographic imaging, and related patient care activities while documenting results in the EMR and ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will hold ARRT certification and an active state license as applicable, complete required safety and infection control training, and collaborate with clinicians to support

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required and completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• Externship in a medical/ambulatory setting preferred.
• 1–2 years of medical office experience preferred; may substitute for education.
• Must hold ARRT certification and Maryland, Virginia, or DC license as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipuncture, imaging, and related patient care under physician supervision.
• Performs radiographic imaging and forwards images to radiologist for over-reads; maintains equipment and safety standards.
• Administers oral, IM, SC, or intradermal medications after demonstrating competency.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the EMR and supports efficient patient flow.
