Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiography procedures, evaluate radiographs for quality, and adhere to established protocols. Must be competent in radiographic procedures and assist radiologists as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic procedures with high-quality film production.
  • Minimize film artifacts and maintain equipment cleanliness.
  • Document procedures and stat reads per departmental policies.
  • Obtain patient history and assist radiologist during procedures.
  • Notify supervisor of supply needs and demonstrate ability to operate and reboot radiologic equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED; graduate from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
  • Experience: Completion of initial and ongoing training as per service line requirements.
Licenses and Certifications
  • ARRT (R) or eligible, certified by Texas Department of State Health Services MRT program, and current BLS certification.
