Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Radiology Technologist skilled in radiography procedures and radiograph evaluation for quality. Must perform procedures per protocols established by staff radiologists.

What You Will Do

• Perform diagnostic procedures, ensuring high film quality.
• Minimize artifacts, clean cassettes as needed.
• Document procedures and stat reads per policies.
• Obtain patient history, assist radiologist, help put patients at ease.
• Notify supervisor of supply needs.
• Shutdown or reboot radiologic equipment/computers as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; graduate from AMA-approved radiologic tech program.
• Experience: Completion of initial and ongoing training specific to patient needs.

Licenses/Certifications

• ARRT (R) or registry eligible, Texas MRT certification, current BLS certification.
