Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Radiology Technologist to maintain technical skills for radiography procedures and evaluate radiographs for quality, following established protocols.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing diagnostic procedures and ensuring high film quality.
• Minimizing artifacts, cleaning cassettes.
• Documenting procedures and stat reads per policies.
• Obtaining patient history, assisting radiologists, and ensuring patient comfort.
• Notifying supervisor of equipment or supply needs.
• Shutting down or rebooting radiologic equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED; graduate from AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• Experience as a radiologic technologist (training and competencies as per service line).

Licenses and Certifications:

• ARRT (R) or eligible, Texas Department of State Health Services MRT certification, current BLS certification.
