Job summary

Intermountain Health, at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO, seeks a Registered Radiology Technologist to perform medical imaging under physician direction. This full-time weekend role (Fri–Sun, 5am–5:30pm) supports our clinical team and ensures patients receive high-quality care.

You will work with ED and nursing units, producing X-ray images and preparing films for radiologists, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Approved radiological training program and ARRT registry eligibility.
• Current license/certification in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Produce x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist.
• Operate portable x-ray equipment in Emergency Department and nursing units as needed.
• Process films for radiologists’ reading/interpretation.
• Communicate with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians.
• Maintain x-ray equipment and ensure preventative maintenance per schedule.
