Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II in Denver, CO, for full-time 36 hours weekly. You will perform diagnostic imaging, coordinate with radiologists, and ensure high-quality results while following safety protocols.

The role requires ARRT(R) certification, state licensure, and BLS, with opportunities for evening and weekend shift differentials. Experience in fluoroscopy and mobile imaging preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification and state licensure required.
• Includes BLS for healthcare providers.
• Experience in a variety of diagnostic exams preferred.
• May involve MA duties in clinic/ InstaCare settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain competency in all clinical functions and imaging protocols.
• Ensure patient identification, order verification, and exam prep.
• Perform exams per department protocol and review image quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time standards; assist and train others in procedures.
• Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and respond to concerns.
• Practice infection control and equipment-related safety.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of procedures and any adverse reactions.
• Follow codes for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC, and equipment reporting.
