Job summary

The role requires ARRT RT(R) certification, state licensure, and BLS. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is offered. Weekend and holiday rotations apply as part of coverage in a fast-paced imaging department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist RT(R) with ARRT in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and timeliness.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding.
• Maintain documentation of procedures and results.
• Address equipment malfunctions and report them to the help desk/PACS admin.
• Assist with scheduling procedures and monitor patient priority.
