Job summary

Advocate Health in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in the Neurosurgery & Spine Clinic. The role requires ARRT-recognized training, registry eligibility within 1 year of hire, and BLS certification.

The position supports imaging services, documents patient histories, administers contrast media when needed, and collaborates with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
