Job summary

Advocate Health's Wake Forest Health Network in Greensboro, NC, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, document patient histories, and verify patient identity under radiologist supervision.

You will prepare contrast media, maintain records, and collaborate with physicians. ARRT-recognized program, registry eligibility within 1 year, and BLS required, with a 40-hour week and sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program completed
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
