Job summary

Advocate Health in Greensboro, NC seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in the Neurosurgery & Spine Clinic. You will document patient history, verify identity and position patients for accurate exams, with supervision from a radiologist as needed.

Ideal candidates have ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology education, registry eligibility within 12 months, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to the procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification and verifies identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates equipment and positions patients for each procedure.
• Maintains required records per departmental standards.
