Job summary

Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, New Hampshire, seeks a Radiology Technologist (RT) - Multi-Modality Tech in Radiography and CT to join a patient-focused imaging team. The role covers patient prep, imaging, and safe procedural explanations tailored to the patient’s age and understanding.

ARRT radiography and CT certification, a BS degree preferred, and BCLS certification are valued, with 2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography and CT certification required/currently registered.
• Bachelor of Science degree preferred, but not required.
• Current CE credit requirements compliance.
• Current BCLS certification.
• 2 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prep and screen patients for imaging procedures.

At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for a multi-modality tech in radiography and Cat Scan to join our team.

The primary responsibility of the multi-modality is:

• Prep and screen patients appropriately for imaging procedures.
• Produce diagnostic images of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems.
• Explain and perform radiologic procedures with consideration to the level of understanding and age appropriateness of the patient.
• Able to assess patient pain by interfering with imaging procedures, makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/ healthcare errors.

An ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Currently Registered - Radiography, and CT
• A Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required.
• Current compliance with continuing education credit requirements
• Current BCLS certification
• 2 years experience preferred

Willing to train single modality techs to hold at least a minimum of ARRT (R) (CT). - Radiography and Cat Scan

Compensation:

Min:$29.95

Max:$46.42
