Tyvan LLC is seeking a Radiology Technologist (PRN) to operate X-ray equipment and capture diagnostic images. You will position patients, warm up and sterilize equipment, and follow physician instructions while maintaining infection control standards.

You will monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast agents, assess film quality, and communicate clearly with patients to ensure comfort. Prior experience in ER is preferred, with ARRT and BLS certifications.

Qualificações

• One year of experience preferred.
• ER hospital setting experience preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent in radiologic technology plus related training.
• ARRT and BLS certifications from recognized bodies.
• Awareness of exposure to body fluids and infectious diseases.

Responsabilidades

• Position patients accurately for X-ray to target specific body areas.
• Perform regular warm-up procedures on equipment.
• Sterilize and maintain radiologic equipment to uphold safety standards.
• Interpret and follow the physician’s written instructions.
• Assess films for technical quality and report deficiencies.
• Communicate procedures to patients and provide reassurance for a comfortable experience.
• Monitor patients for allergic reactions or complications to contrast agents.
• Maintain an inventory of radiologic supplies and report shortages or needs.
