Job summary

Tyvan LLC is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist (CT X-ray Tech) to operate CT equipment and capture high-quality diagnostic images. Responsibilities include patient positioning, equipment maintenance, and strict adherence to hygiene and infection control protocols.

The ideal candidate will monitor patients during procedures for adverse reactions to contrast agents and ensure safe, comfortable experiences. ER experience and ARRT/BLS certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with related experience.
• ARRT certification and BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Multi-modality technologists should have two or more modalities or cross-training.
• Experience in ER settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanning equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Position patients accurately for targeted scans.
• Perform routine warm-up procedures on CT equipment.
• Sterilize and maintain radiologic equipment for safety.
• Interpret physician instructions for scanning.
• Administer radiocontrast agents when needed.
• Assess image quality and report deficiencies.
• Communicate procedures and provide patient reassurance.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during procedures.
• Maintain supplies and report shortages.
