Qualifikationen

• One year of experience is preferred.
• One year of ER hospital experience is preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school is required.

Aufgaben

• Position patients accurately for X-ray to target specific body areas.
• Warm up and maintain radiologic equipment.
• Sterilize and maintain radiologic equipment to uphold safety standards.
• Interpret and follow physician instructions accurately.
• Assess film quality and report deficiencies.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance.
• Monitor patients for allergies or adverse reactions to contrast agents.
• Maintain inventory of radiologic supplies and report shortages.
