Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of ER hospital experience preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent from a 2-year college.
• ARRT and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients accurately for X-ray targeting specific body areas.
• Regular warm-up procedures performed on equipment.
• Sterilize and maintain radiologic equipment to uphold safety.
• Interpret and follow physician instructions accurately.
• Assess films for technical quality and report any deficiencies.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance.
• Monitor patients for allergic reactions or complications from contrast.
• Maintain radiologic supply inventory and report shortages.
