Tyvan LLC is seeking a Radiology Technologist-3 to operate CT scanning equipment and capture high-quality diagnostic images. You will position patients, maintain equipment, and ensure strict hygiene and infection control.

The role requires monitoring patients during procedures for adverse reactions to contrast agents, following physician instructions, administering contrast when needed, and reporting any image or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Qualificações

• One year of experience in radiology modalities preferred.
• ER hospital experience preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college with related training.
• ARRT and BLS certifications required by the American Heart Association.
• Multi-modality technologists should have two or more modality certifications.
• Be aware of exposure to body fluids and infectious diseases.

Responsabilidades

• Operate CT scanning equipment to obtain detailed images.
• Position patients accurately for scans.
• Perform regular warm-up procedures on the CT scanner.
• Sterilize and maintain radiologic equipment.
• Follow physician's scanning instructions precisely.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Assess CT scans for technical quality and report deficiencies.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance.
• Monitor patients for allergic reactions during procedures.
• Maintain radiologic supply inventory and report shortages.
