Job summary

St. David's Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our ARRT/NMTCB-aligned team in the Round Rock, Texas area.

You will perform nuclear medicine imaging, ensure patient safety, and comply with regulatory guidelines under Radiation Safety oversight. The role emphasizes high-quality scans across diverse patient ages, efficient patient care, and strict adherence to radiologic procedures and ALARA practices within our comprehensive medical facility in the HCA Healthcare

Qualifications

• Must follow ARRT and NMTCB standards.
• Ability to provide patient-specific care from neonatal to geriatric.
• Adherence to ALARA radiation safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic-quality scans for a wide age range.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras, computers and related equipment.
• Follow imaging protocols and adjust isotope dosages as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients and families clearly.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy and dignity at all times.
