• CPR certification is mandatory.

The role you’ll contribute:

Under general supervision, the Radiologic Technologist uses ionizing radiation to produce quality radiographic images. Responsibilities include participating in various diagnostic procedures that provide quality care to patients from neonatal to geriatric. The technologist actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships. Additionally, the X-Ray Technologist supports other center or company needs as directed.

• Performs all required imaging projections using proper positioning criteria and technical exposure factors. Confirms patient/exam accuracy using two identifiers before administering exams. [Exam Supervision and Administration]
• Reviews all images for evidence and accuracy of RT/LT marker placement and proper orientation. Repeats views as necessary to ensure all required anatomical structures are included with proper contrast and resolution. Adheres to the Image Quality Action Plan. [Diagnostic Image Quality and Documentation]
• Completes exams promptly, keeps the front desk informed of exam status, and communicates clinical information effectively. [Personal Productivity and Accountability]
• Uses computer systems to update exam status, cancel or modify orders, ensure charges match procedures, and confirms proper exam/patient assignment before releasing images to PACS. Corrects accession errors and manages media for Teleradiology cases. [Data Processing]
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment safely, adheres to infection control standards, and minimizes radiation exposure by wearing dosimetry badges. May involve transporting hazardous waste and completing proper training for handling and disposal. [Safety and the Environment of Care]

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

• ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Florida State License
• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation
• ARRT (R) or Registry Eligible

Preferred qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in healthcare-related field
• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare-related field
• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography
