The role you’ll contribute:

Under general supervision, the Radiologic Technologist uses ionizing radiation to produce quality radiographic images. Responsibilities include participating in various diagnostic procedures that deliver quality patient care across all ages. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships. Supports other center/company needs as directed.

• Performs imaging projections using proper positioning and technical exposure factors, confirming patient/exam accuracy with two identifiers.
• Reviews images for accuracy and quality, repeating views as necessary, and adheres to the Image Quality Action Plan.
• Completes exams timely, communicates with the front desk, and follows up on clinical information.
• Uses computer systems to update exam status, ensure charges match, and manage image and data quality.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment safely, adheres to infection control standards, and minimizes radiation exposure, including proper handling of hazardous waste and PPE use.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

• ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Florida State License
• CPR Certification
• ARRT (R) or Registry Eligible

Preferred qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in healthcare-related field
• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare-related field
• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography
