Job summary

OrthoVirginia is seeking a Radiology Technician to prepare patients for radiological procedures and ensure high safety and quality standards across our Virginia locations. The role involves obtaining quality radiographs, maintaining equipment, and upholding strong patient care in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities include safe operation of radiographic equipment, accurate patient data handling, and assisting with additional duties as needed.

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and follow established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Protect patients, yourself and staff from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures which meet or exceed recommended industry standards.
• Obtain quality radiographs of patients in an acceptable timeframe; Process and accurately digitize images with correct patient data.
• Prepare examination rooms for radiographic procedures.
• Review each exam for technical accuracy and identify anatomical orientation on all images.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Comply with radiation safety guidelines and operate radiographic equipment safely.
• Demonstrate willingness to assist in additional duties as required.

Compensation Range for this position: $28.08 - $42.12. Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
