Job summary

OrthoVirginia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support high-quality diagnostic imaging across its Virginia network. The role focuses on patient-centered care, safety, and efficient imaging workflows in a collaborative team setting.

The candidate should hold a Virginia Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT Certification, with 1 year of experience preferred. Open to New Grads and PRN shifts are available. Compensation ranges hourly from $28.08 to $42.12.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Certification.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures with comfort, safety, and privacy.
• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and obtain high-quality digital images.
• Operate radiographic and C-arm equipment safely and effectively.
• Review images for technical quality and proper patient identification.
• Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure.
• Maintain examination rooms and imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver patient care.
• Assist with additional clinical and departmental responsibilities as needed.

What You’ll Do

As a Radiologic Technologist, you'll play a key role in helping providers diagnose injuries and conditions by producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

• Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy
• Perform diagnostic X‑ray examinations and obtain high-quality digital images
• Operate radiographic and C‑arm equipment safely and effectively
• Review images for technical quality, anatomical accuracy, and proper patient identification
• Follow radiation safety protocols and industry best practices to minimize exposure
• Maintain examination rooms and imaging equipment to ensure compliance and operational readiness
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and fellow team members to deliver exceptional patient care
• Assist with additional clinical and departmental responsibilities as needed

Compensation Range for this position: $28.08 - $42.12. Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
