Job summary

OrthoVirginia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (PRN) to join our Virginia-based outpatient imaging team. You will perform diagnostic X-ray procedures and produce high-quality images in a collaborative orthopedic setting, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires a Virginia radiologic technologist license, ARRT certification, and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with 1+ year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Current Virginia Radiologic Technologist License.
  • ARRT Certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • 1+ years of Radiologic Technologist experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy.
  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and obtain high-quality digital images.
  • Operate radiographic and C-arm equipment safely and effectively.
  • Review images for technical quality, anatomical accuracy, and proper patient identification.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols and industry best practices to minimize exposure.
  • Maintain examination rooms and imaging equipment to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and fellow team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Assist with additional clinical and departmental responsibilities as needed
