The community you’ll be caring for: 301 MEMORIAL MEDICAL PKWY, Daytona Beach, 32117

The role you’ll contribute:

Performs radiographic imaging procedures, positions, moves, and assists patients. Performs clerical duties and basic patient care within scope of practice and departmental standards. Adheres to the Hospital Corporate compliance plan, all local, state, and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Performs exams using established protocols, properly identifies patients, educates patients about exams, and screens for contrast allergies.
• Operates imaging equipment safely, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, and adapts protocols for patients of all ages.
• Screens patients of childbearing age, minimizes radiation exposure, practices infection control, and maintains a clean, organized room.
• Positions patients and equipment, selects technical factors to produce quality images meeting Radiologist standards, efficiently and safely.
• Provides direct patient care within scope, utilizing infection control techniques.

Qualifications

The expertise and experience you need to succeed:

• Associate degree or equivalent; two years of related experience preferred. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Science program required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• State license as a general radiographer, if applicable, required.
