Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Radiology Technologist for PRN shifts. You will obtain radiographs, follow radiation safety guidelines, and support imaging procedures while maintaining patient comfort and confidentiality.

The role requires ARRT-R Radiography certification and CPR/BLS within 30 days of start. This on-site position offers the opportunity to contribute to a leading healthcare network in Virginia.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• CPR/Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality radiographs of patients within an acceptable timeframe.
• Comply with radiation safety guidelines and operate radiographic equipment safely.
• Render patient care professionally and identify patients using proper protocol.
• Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Assist radiologist with medications, contrast agents, and patient care.
• Review each exam for technical accuracy and anatomical orientation on images.
• Maintain a clean, confidential, and orderly work area.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• Obtains quality radiographs of patients in an acceptable timeframe.

• Complies with radiation safety guidelines. Operates radiographic equipment safely.

• Demonstrates the ability to perform all necessary computer operations.

• Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner and always identifies patients utilizing proper protocol.

• Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.

• Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents and all types of care to the patient.

• Reviews each exam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on all images.

• Demonstrates willingness to assist in additional duties.

• Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner.

• Maintains strict confidentiality regarding employees and patients.

• Completes and maintains educational requirements

What qualifications you will need:

• (ARRT-R) Radiography

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
