Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a CT Technologist to obtain high-quality CT images, operate imaging equipment safely, and support radiologists with procedures. The role requires ARRT licensure, ongoing education credits, and a commitment to patient care.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year in diagnostic radiology, with CT technologist experience preferred. This on-site position offers a competitive wage, benefits, and a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Continuing education credits as required by ARRT for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality CT images and perform CT studies.
• Operate CT equipment safely according to guidelines.
• Assist radiologist with procedures including contrast administration and biopsies.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to obtain quality CT images and to perform CT Studies.

• Complies with radiation safety guidelines. Operates CT equipment safely.

• Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operations.

• Render patient care in professional and courteous manner and always identifies patients utilizing the proper protocol.

• Prepare CT scanner and perform quality control tests.

• Assist the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients.

• Reviews each exam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on all images.

• Demonstrates willingness to assist in additional duties.

• Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner.

• Maintains strict confidentiality regarding employees and patients according to policy and procedure.

• Completes and maintains educational requirements

What qualifications you will need:

• REQUIRED: Minimum 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology.

• PREFERRED: At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist

• REQUIRED: Graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology.

• Responsible for continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure.

LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION:

• REQUIRED: American Registry of Radiologic Technology

• AART – CT Technology within 6 months of start

• BLS for Healthcare Providers through AHA or CPR through American Red Cross

• PREFERRED: American Society of Radiologic Technology

• Virginia Society of Radiologic Technology
