About Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital

Corewell Health Farmington Hills opened on Jan. 19, 1965, as a 200-bed facility known then as Botsford General Hospital. Today, it is a 305-bed teaching hospital with Level II trauma status.

Scope of work

Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. Demonstrates good clinical skills, provides high-quality images, applies radiation protection principles, and ensures regulatory compliance. Assumes responsibility for designated areas and provides clinical instruction as needed. Follows Corewell Health’s philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
• Training gained at student level.
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT required within 180 days.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT upon hire.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC upon hire.
