Job summary

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform accurate diagnostic exams in general radiology while following radiation safety guidelines. You’ll be a vital part of a teaching and research hospital known for clinical excellence.

The position is part-time with day shifts. Eligible candidates will be graduates of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program with ARRT certification and BLS or ARC on hire.

Qualifications

• Required graduate of JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist) within 180 days.
• ARRT - Radiographer (R) within 180 days.
• BLS certification required at hire (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostic exams in general radiology.
• Adhere to radiation safety regulations and principles.
• Contribute as a vital team member in a teaching and research hospital.

Scope of Work

As a Radiology Technologist with Corewell Health, you can turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses. You'll be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology while following regulations and principles of radiation protection. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Required Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• Training gained at student level. Required
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
