Job summary

St. David’s Georgetown Hospital in Georgetown, TX, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform standard, portable, and specialized X-ray procedures. The role emphasizes patient care, image quality, and adherence to radiation safety protocols.

The successful candidate will prepare patients, operate x-ray equipment, process films, and ensure timely transfer of images to PACS for radiologist interpretation.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Develop and process films and transmit to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice and regulations.
• Ensure prompt transfer of images to PACS with correct markers and patient data/history.
• Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
