Job summary

St. David's South Austin Medical Center, part of St. David's HealthCare, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures and produce quality images under licensed supervision.

The role requires MRT certification in Texas, ARRT certification, BLS, and graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program; you will use fluoro, C-arm, Tomo, and portable units while ensuring patient safety and professional ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• Current MRT certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David’s Healthcare policy.
• Certified in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures and produce images for interpretation.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards and ensure patient safety.
• Assist radiologist and prepare patients for exams.
• Use radiology equipment including fluoro, c-arm, Tomo, and portable units.
• Verify orders and refer issues to Senior Tech/Radiologist.
• Ensure proper markers and patient communication.
