Responsibilities include dose optimization, accurate documentation in PACS/Cerner, and effective communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Qualifications

• Florida x-ray license active
• ARRT- RT registered
• AHA BLS active

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates knowledge of radiation safety and dose reduction techniques to minimize patient exposure.
• Documents exam details in Cerner and transmits data to PACS.
• Positions patients and prepares examination rooms and equipment for imaging.
• Operates portable and stationary x-ray equipment in various settings including OR and ED.
• Ensures patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality during exams.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and reports malfunctions as needed.
