Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations under the radiologist's supervision. The role involves coordinating daily workflow, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate procedure records in a busy radiology department.

Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program with registry eligibility within 1 year and BLS certification is required.

• Physical capability to handle equipment and assist patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition submitted by physician.
• Verifies patient identity by verbal confirmation and proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates equipment and demonstrates correct positioning of patients for procedures.
• Maintains records as required by departmental standards.
