Job summary

Atrium Health CNSA in North Carolina seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams under radiologist supervision, coordinating daily workflow.

Eligible candidates have an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology degree, registry eligibility with completion within 1 year, CPR certification, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completed within 1 year of hire; CPR certification.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development; communicates clearly with patients.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisitions.
• Verifies patient identity prior to procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologists and other physicians.
• Selects and operates radiographic equipment; demonstrates positioning skills.
• Maintains records as required by department standards.
