Job summary

Atrium Health Lake Norman is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under the Radiologist's direction. You will coordinate daily activities, document patient histories, and verify patient identity to ensure accurate examinations.

The candidate must graduate from an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program, be registry-eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire, and hold BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition submitted by physician.
• Verifies patient identity verbally and with proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other physicians as needed.
• Operates equipment and ensures correct anatomic positioning for each exam.
• Maintains accurate records as required by department standards.
