Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry within 1 year.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition submitted by physician.
• Verifies patient identification by verbal confirmation and proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment and positions patient as needed.
• Maintains records per departmental standards.
