Atrium Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under the supervision of the Radiologist. You will coordinate daily activities, including exams and clerical duties, while ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.

The role requires ARRT-recognized education, registry eligibility with completion within one year, and BLS certification. Strong communication and ability to position patients correctly are essential.

Formación

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire.
• BLS required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient population served.

Responsabilidades

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment and demonstrates proper anatomic positioning.
• Maintains required records per departmental standards.
